Sri Ramakrishna, the great Indian saint, delighted his listeners with stories that illustrated his spiritual teachings. Ramakrishna's parables are populated with grass-eating tigers and mad elephants, wisemen, charlatans and simpletons, as well as the gods and goddesses of Hindu mythology. Like Buddha and Christ, Ramakrishna chose simple stories as the vehicles for complex moral and religious teachings. Forty of his parables are presented in his own words on this DVD.
